Spa Treatment

Nagayu CO₂ Skin Therapy

A compressed tablet of carbon dioxide, hydrogen and bicarbonate dissolved into the rinse — originally a centuries-old hot-spring treatment from Nagayu, a small village in southern Japan.

Deep cleaning & odour removing

Lifts mineral waste from clogged pores that cause odour, while preserving the natural moisture in your dog's skin.

Skin issues & allergies

Dog skin is a third the thickness of ours. The CO₂ rinse helps balance pH and calms scabs, yeast and oily build-up.

Improved coat

Bicarbonate, hydrogen and citric-acid ions wash mineral and silicon dirt from the hair root — leaving a full, silky, healthy coat.

Results can typically be seen after one treatment, though dogs with deeper skin issues may need follow-up baths for the full effect. Ask us about adding it to your next groom.

About Me

Meet Jennifer — Master Groomer

Jennifer Pratt grew up on a farm, where her love for animals began at an early age. Raised around horses and deeply involved in horseback riding and show jumping, she developed a strong understanding of animal care, patience, and trust — values that continue to shape her work today.

Jennifer discovered her passion for dog grooming through a high school co-op program and quickly realized she had found her calling. More than 20 years later, she has become a highly skilled Master Groomer known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and ability to work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and coat conditions.

At The Doggie Dip and Clip, Jennifer takes pride in creating a calm, caring environment where every dog is treated like family. Her experience, dedication, and lifelong passion for animals have earned the trust of countless clients and their beloved pets over the years.

Our Story

A neighbourhood salon where every dog gets the long way 'round.

Doggie Dip & Clip Inc. has been on Pinegrove Road since 1981, with one quiet rule: no rush, no leaving a dog wet and waiting.

Jen and Lilia run the salon by hand — meeting every pup before the scissors come out, taking breaks when they need them, and sending them home looking (and feeling) like the best version of themselves. Most of our regulars have been with us for years. We'd love to add yours to the list.

Doggie Dip & Clip Inc. offers after-hours emergency skunking grooms — if your pup gets sprayed, don't wait until morning. Call us directly and we'll get them in for an immediate de-skunk bath, deep deodorising treatment, and a full towel-and-blow dry so they (and your home) can sleep easy.
